It’s June which can only mean one thing - the start of Pride month all over the world.

While we think we shouldn’t have to in 2026, it is important that we make sure that all of our clients feel safe with us.

We are deeply committed to the LGBTQIA+ community because, well, why wouldn’t we be?
The owner of The Individual Funeral Company just happens to be part of this community and we employ a diverse range of people to help us on a daily basis.

You never have to explain, be careful about wording or double think anything with us. You’re totally safe here and without any judgement.

Very recently someone called and said ‘I’m making enquiries on behalf of a friend and her wife has died. Is that a problem?’

Our hearts broke a little bit that someone thought they needed to call and ask this first but then we could instantly reassure them that they had found a company who is part of the tribe.
