Under my label TUKOA Jewellery Design, I, create expressive, one-of-a-kind pieces featuring special gemstones. In my Vienna Atelier, I design and handcraft each piece from Fairmined gold and recycled precious metals. I also offer bespoke creations, including wedding bands and engagement rings. Sustainability is at the heart of my work: I carefully source natural diamonds and gemstones only from trusted suppliers. Since 2024, I have also been working with lab-grown diamonds made in Germany - a modern, sustainable alternative with the same beauty and brilliance.

Gemstones with facets are sumptuous and luminous. But raw minerals as they are found in nature are also totally stunning. Their rough surface and organic shape are so aesthetic. This raw ruby contrasts beautifully with the mat surface of sterling silver.

From the design until the finished piece of jewellery, a goldsmith needs a lot of different tool to transform the metal and set the stone. Sawing, filing, working through the rolling mill, bending, soldering, sanding, polishing, stone setting. Every step in slow process creation is necessary to get a well done piece, which be worn and loved for years and years 💍 like this engagement ring in red gold with a stunning Rosa tourmaline 💞

"Tu me fais fondre" was one of my first collections. It means in french "I melt for you" making a bridge with the technique I use in the collection. Little pieces of metal are melted together to make a free shape. These necklaces are available at the studio in silver, gold-plated silver and red gold-plated silver.

Did you know that Paraiba tourmalines are the rarest and most valuable stones in the world? They have an intense turquoise colour, due to traces of copper and manganese. They can be found only in three places in the world: Paraiba (Brasil), Mozambique and Nigeria. With a dark silver metal like platinum or white gold palladium, it is a blast!

Yesterday I was asked the story behind the creation of TUKOA. It all began in 1993 in Koweit. 32 years of creation, of trying and failing, of growing and wondering, of searching my path and developing my artistic style. If you have a dream, don't be scared, go one step at a time and stay at it. You don't build a house in one day ☺️

People often ask me where I find my inspiration. It's not easy to tell, because it is everywhere my eyes fall, all around me, everywhere I go. Structures are a central theme in my work. The final shape is not always premeditated. Sometimes I just create and after it reminds me of something. Like for this pendant of the collection "stalagmit".
