My client brought in an impressive beryl, which she wanted to wear set horizontally across the finger. The design called for something bold and sculptural, while still incorporating elements of Art Nouveau.
I combined both approaches, framing the large stone with flowing, floral details to balance its presence.
Due to the stone’s size, the ring widens towards the base, and the inner shape is slightly adjusted — not fully round, with softly rounded edges on the outside. This allows the ring to be supported by the adjacent fingers and prevents it from tilting sideways.
