Once SARS-CoV-2 virus enters the lung cells, the virus starts to feed off our cells core resources which are otherwise utilised for normal growth and cell function. These smart virus cells evade the attack initiated by the human body’s immune system and invade the next healthy lung cell. This leads to self-destruction of the damaged lung cells. New virus colonies are formed and the cycle repeats.
