I used to think that only the rich and famous hire personal stylists. Not so . After many years roaming the streets and shops in many countries and recently Netherlands, I realized how much time it takes to find the perfect dress, garment , shoes etc . Especially when you are new in a country or you have a busy schedule.Think of the time and money you spent looking for the appropriate outfit for work, special occasion etc. Many men and women don't have the time to keep up with trends, find the right outfit for their body type or color or dress code AND where to find the shops that stock what they need. That is why I believe the ordinary person can also benefit from the services of a personal stylist . A good personal stylist can offer different options to suit the customer.
Another passion of mine is wardrobe planning and mixing and matching your own clothes. I believe that by “detoxing” your wardrobe , you save time and money and you “unclutter” your brain ! Choices will be easier and you will be surprised how little you need. You don't have to have complete makeover.
I LOVE shopping and browsing whether its in shops, online, magazines etc. Keeping up with trends is my passion. From an early age I escaped into a world of clothes, shoes, garments, shops whenever I could. I owned a boutique in Cape Town for 3 years specializing in ladies and children clothing . I also worked in the corporate industry for many years and this is where I realized how important first impressions are. Women and men feel more confident when they are dressed comfortably and appropriately while staying true to themselves. But, they don't have enough time to find what suits them or they just find shopping a waste of time . They prefer to spend their time doing other things. The way I styled myself sometimes opened doors with people I thought impossible to reach . Yes , its not all about how you look but that is unfortunately what people see first.
I like to choose garments for men and women that will compliment their personality and outer appearance. Individualism and celebrating our differences is key. I am an ordinary person with a unique style. I can adjust to the occasion and be the best version of myself and that is what I try to achieve with my customers.
