Bespoke handmade pieces of jewelry as unique as each individual Inspired late great grandmother – Ouma Ellie.

A tiny gentle woman with the strength of ox, and the will of an army - she got things done. She had an orchard of fruit trees which she personally saw to, a rose garden to give the queen envy, she baked, she cooked, she sewed and she cared for all who needed caring. I can still smell the sweet aroma of rooibos tea brewing on the stove in her kitchen – countertops packed with the peach preserves an

d fig jams she was cooking, packing and handing out. At the kitchen table, we would enjoy fresh white bread still warm to the touch – with butter, cheese and apricot jam she made herself – and of course a cup of hot sweet rooibos tea. Each little gem is created by hand, with love and care. Inspired through a love of wood and metal - each unique and special with its own character.

All our pieces are crafted by hand and that many pieces are one of a kind...

Each and every piece of wood is sustainably sourced and collected, some are off-cuts that are recycled - whilst others are collected from nature walks in the Limpopo bushveld.

All our brass and silver pieces are hand-sawn in the traditional way - giving each piece its own character and flair.

Macrame Earrings

Every so often, beautiful clients contact me for beautifully bespoke pieces and then they get captured by talented photographers, and of course - I then get to share beautiful images with you...

of is just one of those clients. She has an eye for detail, let me tell you! We made these beauties for the Christening of their baby boy the week prior to this shoot (to match with the macrame backdrop she hand knotted for the ceremony - also in on of the shots)

Our mothers and grandmothers wore them in the height of 80’s fashion and now we are digging through their piles of once loved pieces and rediscovering their edgy brilliance...

This bench has been quiet...

Too quiet...

Having a home studio and 3 little humans (to now homeschool) has been keeping me busy.

Mornings (and most afternoons) has been filled with homework, projects and keeping the emotions and frustrations of 3 very confused, isolated kidlets intact is no easy feat!

We have been blessed to spend time on the farm with open space and fresh air, but our businesses had to start re-opening some of their doors and being in a city does add challenges in entertaining and keeping them active!

I started a little project to keep me sane, to get a bit creative and to get out of my own head - also to remind me that these 3 are still just little humans trying to make sense of this all...

I had each of them write their name, draw a picture of themselves and draw me a heart - they are now seeing these little scribbles transform into something special that I can always treasure in a custom piece...

They will always be my babies and now I have a little piece in time to always keep dear.
