One of the questions I am asked most often is whether I accept commissions for my jewellery. While I am deeply honoured whenever someone wishes for me to create a bespoke piece just for them, I have chosen not to work on commission.

Every piece of jewellery I create begins with a feeling, an energy, or an intuitive spark. I don’t sit down with a plan; I allow each piece to emerge organically, guided by the stones, the materials, and the inspiration present in that moment. It is a process that feels less like designing and more like listening.

When I create under commission, there is an expectation attached to the piece before it has even begun. The focus shifts from what wants to be created to what is expected to be created. For me, this interrupts the natural flow that makes each piece so unique and meaningful.

I believe the people who are meant to find my jewellery will be drawn to the pieces that already exist. Much like we don’t choose every lesson, connection, or opportunity that enters our lives, sometimes the most powerful pieces are the ones that find us rather than the ones we seek to control.

By allowing my creativity to remain free, I can create jewellery that carries authenticity, intention, and soul. Each piece is made when the inspiration arrives, and each one is waiting for the person it was always meant for.
