ndants I moved to rings...then found myself making Elf Ear Cuffs for fancy dress and LARPing. I love making them so much that as soon as I got a good grasp on my technique I became obsessed with making them, and try to make at least one pair a day....many of which I end up not listing because I *need* to keep them! (I tell myself that its a Prototype, and needs to be tested, therefore I must keep a pair of each design!)
One day while shopping for my wire supplies I spotted Polymer Clay. I bought 2 blocks of polymer clay with the intention of making some templates out of it to form wire round. Whilst doing this, I realised how much fun I was having, and decided to take it further, so I made myself a pendant. I then began to learn techniques and experiment, and in the process my personal jewellery stash has grown alot (must keep the prototypes!). Funnily enough, I never did get round to finishing templates for wire out of the clay! The satisfaction I get from creating my items is only surpassed by the feeling I get when someone likes something I made enough to buy it!
