After making 9am-5pm 5 days a week, then NEVER making for a while there… it’s a bit tough to get back into the swing of things. So I’m really focused on going back to how it was in the beginning, the joy of making and the peace it gives me. I hope you like this design but if not that’s okay because I like it and I liked making it 💗

Yup I’m jumping on this movement because I love it and I love people who want my stuff actually getting my stuff and it being loved and worn rather than sitting in my cupboard! Also yknow, eff capitalism 💁‍♀️

Here are things I’ll happily trade my earrings for:
✨ Art prints
✨ Crafts like cross stitches if they’ll suit my gallery wall or studio space
✨ Ceramics of any kind- mugs, plates, trinkets etc
✨ Pot plants (dog friendly ones) with or without pots (coz I’ve ☠️ a bunch so I have spare pots 😅)
✨ A haircut and/or dye
✨ Tattoos/tattoo removal (I have one that needs to be lightened before covering)
✨ Handmade clothes or graphic tee’s
✨ Idk, I like lots of stuff, try me!

I’ve done a lot of crafts in my time (like A LOT) but nothing is as therapeutic as polymer clay 👌

I’m pretty quick with my hand dotting of the flowers in my Daisies designs but the time still adds up very quickly when you’re making a big bunch of them, so here’s a look at the reel time versus the real time of making them!

One whole minute, can you do it? Personally I know I need to slow my roll on my scrolling habits so I decided to make a change to how I create my own content too- enjoy one whole minute of slow made goodness (still sped up though because who has THAT much time to watch this in real time? 😅)

Let’s see:
1. It means I don’t leave any waste, which is obviously preferable for, you know, the world 🌏
2. It’s very open ended with no goal in mind (the definition of play, sorry, my early childhood teacher brain is coming out here) and this is soooo freeing!
3. Play is so so vital for humans of all ages. Did you know that play is actually a right for children? (Sorry, ECT brain never really turns off)
4. It creates things I never would have planned, and while some say NICHE DOWN, I real love having an eclectic mix of styles 🤷‍♀️
5. It’s generally in these times that I pull out something I haven’t used or done before, like a shape cutter I never got around to using, and I like how that extends my repertoire
6. It usually spurs on a creative train of thought that ends up turning into a planned collection or design so it really does increase my creativity!

I could keep on going but my early morning alone time has been cut short by my early bird son, so that’s all we’re getting for now. Perhaps a part 2 can come soon!

Don’t worry, I’m fully aware that my things aren’t for everyone! The comments every time a reel goes viral makes that hard to not know 😂 But the last few years in this business have shown me that there are plenty of people who DO like my overly colourful overly patterned earrings, and the ones that get it really do get it! It takes all kinds of people to make the world go round, so here’s a shout out to the people just like me who just love joyful ridiculous earrings 💖

Thank you to everyone who shopped the release last night! I had my phone on airplane mode because one of the kids was using my iPad for a sleep story, so I kept picking it up to check the sales, and I was so happy to see that people were enjoying this collection! In one day you guys managed to DOUBLE my orders for the rest of the year up to now. I’m blown away. I’m grateful. I’m hopeful. I’m BACK BABY!
