This is one of those dials that looks simple until the light hits it — a fine vertical brush that shifts from warm champagne to gold depending on the angle. Paired with the sharp, slim NSAG case and original bracelet, it’s pure late-80s Seiko: clean, precise, and a little bit flashy.

The deep blue dial, oversized numerals, and those three registers (day, date, 24h) give it this super graphic, military instrument-panel vibe — the kind of design that still feels modern even years later. Chunky brushed case, crisp printing, and it wears even better than it photographs.

A Marlboro promo lighter case with proper F1-era design language — loud red, race-car styling, and surprisingly solid metal in hand. It’s the kind of weird, nostalgic merch that only existed when brands were making “collectibles” instead of throwaways.

Added this NSAG 1989 Seiko Dolce to the website today - jakescuratedvintage.com
The dial is the standout here — a really subtle woven/chevron texture that shifts in the light and gives it a lot of depth.

Paired with the slim case and original bracelet, it’s one of those pieces that feels properly “of its era” without being loud. Quietly interesting, and very easy to wear.

I've got this Seiko Dolce tank up on the website today.

I’ve always liked these for how straightforward they are — slim, clean lines, great proportions, and that classic Seiko linen dial finishing that still holds up.

This one is a really tidy example with a crisp dial, sharp case edges, and it wears incredibly well on wrist.

Added a Seiko Sportsman to the website today.

I’ve always liked these for how straightforward they are — clean indices, great case shape, and that classic Seiko dial finishing that still holds up, 60 years later.

This one is in great condition with a crisp sunburst dial, original crystal, and smooth operation.

I’ve just added this Seiko Skyliner to the website. I think these are pretty highly under rated in the modern market, they are built superbly, are in a great size while also having vintage charm.

This one in particular is a really clean example with an immaculate sunburst dial, original crystal and is operating smoothly.
