Health Insurance Charity All-volunteer charity providing enough financial assistance to uninsured, low income, working, metro Detroiters so they can purchase health insurance.

Our all-volunteer charity serves uninsured, low income, working metro Detroiters. Due to the Affordable Care Act, the low income population now has low cost, low-deductible (Silver) health insurance available to them, but it is still too expensive for those living paycheck to paycheck. We fill that affordability gap with our financial assistance and all of our recipients now own Silver health insu

rance plans and are taking advantage of their access to health care. Our charity has no overhead, a supporter who offers a 100% donation match and each $1 donated buys from $4 to $80 of health insurance for recipients, so donations have a huge impact.
