My first job was selling jewellery in a well known shop in Groningen. Part of the shop's collection was designed and made by its employees. Working in the shop I learnt loads of tricks to make jewellery, earrings specifically. My friends liked my work and my earrings have become a common birthday present. Friends, colleagues and family have unique pairs of earrings custom made to their own taste.

Most of my jewellery is made from second hand beads and charms. I am very picky on beads and spend a lot of time on each product, trying to make it as lovely as possible. The name Tree Rose Fish refers to the first three words Dutch children were taught to read and write. This has now changed to Moon Rose Fish, but I like a fierce touch of nostalgia.
