$5???? Yes. You read that right. If shopping small is what sets your heart on fire this vday, here is your reminder that everything (except rings) on my site is $5 until the end of the month đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ’•đŸ’•đŸ’•

The short version:
- I’m Sarah. I love to craft, read, cook, sing, and learn. My hobby list is large. If you’d like to see what’s on that list, just stick around 😘
- Everything on my website (except rings) is $5 from now until the end of February, at which point all remaining inventory (except rings) will be removed from my site. No code needed.

The long version:
- I learned a new skill and began to share it in my eagerness. I started getting questions about if I was going to sell my work, and went full ADHD, turning my hobby into a business. I discovered just how creative I can be. I learned a lot about myself. And ultimately I found that monetizing my hobby sucked the joy from it đŸ„Ž
- While my all or nothing brain has been shouting “SHUT IT DOWN”, there are still things I’m not ready to let go of when it comes to Formation Clay.
- So, for now, I am reducing my inventory down to just rings. I enjoy making rings, and keeping stores stocked with them. Everything else is up for grabs at $5 each. This covers my materials. At the end of February I will remove any remaining inventory from my site, excluding rings.
- Moving forward, I want to share what I’m making (FOR FUN), what other makers I admire are making, fun memes, and really anything else that tickles my fancy.
- I’ll still continue to sell rings because they’re 1.) dope and 2.) amazing quality in an economy where everything is expensive and falls apart.
- If you saw this post and thought “when did I start following this person?”: Hey, my name is Sarah. I love to craft, read, cook, sing, and learn. My hobby list is large. If you’d like to see what’s on that list, just stick around 😘

It’s been a minute since I’ve showed up on the feed đŸ‘‹đŸ» But as I catch my breath from the last few months and slow down for winter I thought it might be helpful to remind you that I’m stocked with gifts that you can pick up locally here in OBKY (for all you last minute shoppers đŸ« ). I crafted these in the summer, but I honestly love them all for a funky winter wear. Green and red for Christmas, or blue if you’re more into the snowy vibe. They’re all incredibly lightweight and ready to be picked up today. Link in stories!

Channeled my creative energy into a kickass Halloween party last week. The balloons I made these eyeballs from cost $5, and the bats are made from black card-stock. There’s magic in thrift and craft

I was honored to turn these funeral flowers into precious, sentimental pieces for a family. Flowers mark many occasions and memories, and this was a beautiful way to keep the memory of of a loved one close.

If you’re interested in turning an important floral into a custom sentimental piece, shoot me a DM. Discounts for multiple pieces.

Growing up I never considered myself creative. Working with polymer clay was actually the beginning of me finding my creativity. I now FULLY believe that everyone holds creativity, you just have to practice it. And creativity can look like a MILLION different things. In an effort to personally celebrate all of the small ways I find creativity in my every day life, I want to share the places my creative curiosity has been leading me lately (in no particular order)
1. Making felt toys. The anxious princess inside me is already thinking about Christmas. But instead of worrying about gift giving, I want to embrace it creatively this year. Making sentimental homemade toys for the littles in my life is bringing all the feels. It’s also giving novelty, since I’ve never worked with felt or hand stitched before.
2. Puzzles with my kid. She is better at puzzles than anyone I know, and turns out I enjoy puzzles sometimes too. It’s fun to find new interests by taking interest in someone else.
3. Candle painting girls night. Building community is one of my values. What better way than to make snacks and do a new craft with friends? Bonus laughs at me accidentally dying my hand when I dyed these table clothes. (Oh yea, I’ve been up-cycling by dying fabric I already have and repurposing it lately)
4. Using scraps from projects that didn’t work to just play and make something new. I just sat down without ideas and started to see what would come to mind. Do I love this? No. But it was a fun exercise in creativity and used up some scraps that would’ve been trash.
5. Deep cleaning my kitchen walls/baseboards and organizing my pantry. Firm believer than cleaning and organizing can absolutely be creative practices. When I feel the pull to organize or deep clean, I let myself follow it (bc lets me real it does not always show up when I want it to). When I’m feeling into it, cleaning calms my mind. And keeping the spaces we use frequently tidy and organized makes my days calmer and helps me use the resources I have available instead of reaching for something new. Practicing this regularly helps me live simpler.
