My husband was telling me about a family he recently met. I wanted to share with you about my new and special friend whom I met through this family. It’s a sweet story about how, sometimes, treasured friendships are found in the most unlikely of ways. “They were telling me about her and how sheR...

We couldn’t love this more! ❤️😍❤️😍

I love reading the stories of saints! It always inspired me and intrigued me how they lived their lives or how deeply devoted they were to God.

One thing I noticed is if we look back into Church history we can find lots of interesting patterns. Take a look at very intense and chaotic times like the French Revolution, the Enlightenment, World War II.....etc. Look at the saints that arose in those times....they were POWERHOUSES! St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. John Paul II to name a few. Some became Doctors of the Church, others started movements that are still present today.

It's crazy to think what these saints went through or felt in those moments. I'm willing to bet it may be similar to what we feel sometimes today.

We look at the world around us and can barely find the words to describe what is going on. Things that we never would have thought we would be experiencing. Churches being closed, schools being closed, strict regulations, limitations, propaganda and lies in the media, persecution and attacks on the Church, immense confusion with our sexuality...the list keeps going!

I heard a priest say once that God brings out his greatest saints in the most difficult of times. Maybe this is one of those times now. Maybe God is permitting all of this chaos and confusion because He knows it will brings out powerhouse saints!

How is God calling you to be a great saint amidst the chaos today?

Walking Together,
Sandra

Different women.

Different nationalities.

Different skin tones.

Different body types.

Different socio-economic backgrounds.

Different childhoods.

Different upbringings.

Different educations.

Different friendships.

Different vocations.

Different trials.

Different blessings.

Different virtues.

Different vices.

Different prayer lives.

Different sacrifices.

All. Saints.

All. Still. Saints.

So, on the eve before All Saints Day, let this be a reminder that there is no mold.

There never has been.

There never will be.

God made you and he knows you.

He loves you AND he likes you.

And He doesn’t want you to be anyone else.

Let us not be confused by the talents and missions of other saints. Let us be the kind of saints we were created to be.

❤️❤️❤️Happy Solemnity of Pentecost❤️❤️❤️

This hymn is traditionally sung in the liturgy for the feast of Pentecost, and other occasions when the Holy Spirit is solemnly invoked. The Veni, Creator Spiritus is also the official opening prayer for Church councils and synods.

Perfectionism doesn’t have much to do with sanctity. These were the words whirling around in my head yesterday as I meditated on the lives of all the women I look up to. I spend a lot of my time thinking about the theology of the feminine genius and the women in the church who have gone before me who have boldly and intentionally brought forth life and light to the Bride of Christ when she most desperately needed it.

These women all had two things in common.

1. They unapologetically loved Jesus.

2. They were imperfect.

It is no secret that some of these women were accused of being too temperamental, too emotional, and too outspoken. Many were unwelcomed and told to get back in line and to follow the script.

But the amazing things about the bold women of the church and the feminine genius that they have been anointed with is that they follow God’s word – not the world’s word.

Women have the amazing ability to take their gifts of receptivity and sensitivity and they turn it into generosity. Women don’t just see the need –they feel is DEEPLY. And then the women of the church do what they do what women do best – they tend to the need. They lovingly clean the need of the dirt that infects it, they apply whatever is necessary to bring healing, and then they wrap it up to protect it from further harm.

Perfectionism doesn’t have much to do with sanctity and I am thankful for all of the women in the communion of Saints for showing me that.

❤️First Holy Communion bracelets are ready!❤️

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him” John 6:56

The mass is at the same time, and inseparably, the sacrificial memorial in which the sacrifice of the cross is perpetuated and the sacred banquet of communion with the Lord’s body and blood. But the celebration of the Eucharistic sacrifice is wholly directed toward the intimate union of the faithful with Christ through communion. To receive communion is to receive Christ himself who has offered himself for us - CCC 1382

❤️If you are looking for a gift for that special girl receiving her First Holy Communion, we would be so honored and delighted to help you!

❤️Mix and match any style, color, or medal. We make our bracelets to order and would be happy to customize one for you!

A little back story behind the very first Beatitude Bead Bracelet: As a group of friends from church planned their joint family weekend retreat to Broken Bow, Michelle wanted to create a “souvenir” for the women and girls to always remember that special weekend in OK. One night while planning, Michelle accidentally (but we all know nothing is by accident) ordered 300 Miraculous Medals on Amazon while half asleep. When the order of 300 medals arrived, it was clear, this was the Lord’s gentle way of revealing another piece of His beautiful plan. Michelle was inspired to make bracelets for EVERYONE who wanted one! Hence, Beatitude Beads was born! Jesus, we trust in you!

When our Blessed Mother gave the design of the medal to Saint Catherine Labouré she said, “Now it must be given to the whole world and to every person”.

Most Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us! 🌹

⭐️ The Divine Mercy is a devotion to our Lord and Savior but more specifically to His Mercy on the whole world. On February 2nd 1931, Saint Faustina was visited by Jesus, who presented himself as the “King of Divine Mercy” wearing a white garment with red and pale rays coming from his heart.

⭐️ “The pale ray stands for the Water which makes souls righteous; the red ray stands for the Blood which is the life of souls...These two rays issued forth from the depths of My most tender Mercy at that time when My agonizing Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross...” (Diary 299).

⭐️ “One of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance; and immediately there came out blood and water. This is the evidence of one who saw it - true evidence, and he knows that what he says is true - and he gives it so that you may believe as well.”
(John 19:34-35)

“For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have Mercy on us and on the whole world”

“Here in the shadowlands, we strain for a pale shimmer of heavenly sunrise, while they stand in full sun. But even then, the Lord permits them to bend back down below to us in our dim places, carrying lanterns of hope, little lights of grace like tabernacle lamps telling us, ‘God is here’”.
