👗"What do I wear to The Magical Realm??"👟
Not sure what to wear when you come see us on June 6th and 7th? There's no need to worry! While it's fun to dress up in fantastical or historical garb, you are more than welcome to wear everyday clothes to the Faire!
We have some guidelines below about what we DO recommend you wear:
1. Wear sunscreen!
The sun will hopefully be shining bright. But even if it's hidden by clouds, you can still burn, so it's important to remember to apply and re-apply sunscreen throughout the day. (Don't forget your ears and the tops of your feet if you're in sandals!)
2. Wear comfortable shoes!
You are going to be walking for a while as you explore all our Faire has to offer. Even if your comfy shoes don't exactly match your outfit, you'll be much happier in shoes you're used to.
3. Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes!
Check the weather listings and dress accordingly. If it's going to be warm, you might want to leave that fur-lined cape at home.
4. Other recommended items to bring include sunglasses, hats, fans, umbrellas, and a bag to carry purchases!
There's no way of knowing exactly what the weather will be like, but we're always hopeful for a warm (but not too warm) sunny day. Having these items will let you be prepared for any weather.
As far as wearing costumes, you can be as into it (or not) as you want! Do you have a sundress that makes you feel like a princess? Got a really cool belt and a flowy shirt? A Halloween costume you've been wanting to wear again? A full outfit you've been working on for Faire season? Just want to go in a tank top and shorts? All perfect options!
Whether you'll be coming as royalty, a fairy, a pirate, a steampunker, a D&D character, a figure from sci-fi or fantasy, or your wonderful self, we can't wait to see you there!
