And here we are after coming up with the idea and refining it for almost 2 years, failing a few times, taking a step back and finally bringing it to you. But wait, don’t you want to know who we are, why KLAIV was started and what does it mean anyway? So here it goes my story will make it as short as possible ;)
I was born in Chennai in a middle class family and my father is in the jewellery busin
ess for the past 30 years or so like his father before but unfortunately he lost him at a young age of 14. He worked hard and created a small business in Chennai of wholesale fashion jewellery. Then I joined him in the year 2011 after completing my graduation.I started gaining experience and then came up with the idea of Klaiv in the month of July in 2015 after refining the original idea and launched it in March/April 2016. Then running it for a couple of years and doing a lot of mistakes I faced failure hence had to shut down shop. Now after a span of almost of 3 years we are giving it another shot with more experience than we had before. Hopefully things turn out better with gods grace. KLAIV – KamaLA shIV. These are the names of my grandparents from whose name KLAIV is formed. This brand is dedicated to them. Now what are we doing here. It’s pretty simple actually. We are an online store/brand for Handcrafted 92.5 Silver Jewellery. How are we Different from other? With an experience of over 3 decades we are perfectly placed to curate & manufacture the highest quality of products. Our artisans have generations of experience under their belt and they produce breathtaking pieces for our valuable clients. Also we work with affiliates which means that when you buy via them you are supporting a family which is a small way by which we want to bring a change in people’s lives.
