Stray at Home is an art and music festival that started in 2012 in Jackson, MS. We are a large-scale marketplace event, showcasing the work of contemporary Indie-craft and DIY artists. Vendors travel from all over to sell their handmade goods and original furniture and artwork. Each show is juried to feature a wide array of established and emergent designers from Mississippi and the larger souther
n region. Works include: furniture, home decor, lighting, ceramics, paintings, jewelry, craft kits, handmade paper and stationary, silk screened prints, and much more. This will be our fifth year of bringing Stray at Home to downtown Jackson. We are excited to be a part of and contribute to the growing creative culture in Mississippi. Stray at Home – Jackson offers a chance for art and craft enthusiasts, designers, bloggers, music lovers and taste makers to come together to “get lost in” streets brimming with unique artistic expression, fine craftsmanship, and the sounds of talented musicians. This year’s festival will be on Saturday, May 7th 2016 in Smith Park and surrounding streets. We will have our 5th Annual Cornhole Tournament, arts and crafts for sale, local food and beverage vendors, kid’s crafts, live music ranging from the Indie-Alternative to Blues-Rockabilly and Americana. We hope you’ll come “stray” with us in Smith Park on May 7th, 2016.
