As I did my readings this morning, I kept getting hit with the word “normal.” As we currently live in difficult times, normal takes on a variety of meanings. For me, normal has never been more than a setting on the dryer. Sometimes we have calm and prosperity, sometimes we have chaos and challenge. We work our way through both. We strive to become better- not normal. What we want is peace. That is rarely common, and rarely “normal.”
