Juanita Beauchamp for MN Jaycee President 2015 "Ignite Your Passion" by engaging new ideas and by creating sustainable change. I am in charge on a variety of federal government programs.

* Mentor program for members and chapters. I joined the Sauk Rapids Jaycees in 2004 and have had many opportunities to experience the benefits of this organization. From chairing projects, to road running all across the state, working on endless paperwork at the earlier hours of the morning to talking in front of hundreds of people at state and national conventions; I have shared my passion and have felt the Impact. I want to share my experience with others to empower them to be the next leaders and help local chapters create positive change. I want others to "Ignite their Passion" to engage ideas that will create sustainable change for themselves and their communities. JAYCEE CAREER:

I have worked for the USDA-Benton/Mille Lacs Farm Service Agency as a Program Technician in Foley for 15 years. PERSONAL INTEREST:

A goal of mine for 2015 is to strengthen relationships between state and chapters, elected officials, media and businesses. I think when collaborating with officials, businesses and media outlets we need to stress the importance of the Jaycees within the State at the local level, and find ways that all can work together to create impact within our communities utilizing the Active Citizen Framework. Create a project that we can together on. This would help strengthen alliances and expand partnerships.

As President of the Minnesota Jaycees in 2015, one of my goals is to create a video archive of training sessions offered at state conventions and other events throughout Minnesota. I feel this will get more members engaged in the training program and lead to a stronger and more expansive program, increasing our ability to train all of our members, in all areas of life.
By making these training's available for free through a video library, all members of the Minnesota Jaycees would be able to enjoy this key benefit of membership.

Congrats to all of the award recipients at Region 3 awards last night. It was a great night for socializing, singing karaoke, sitting by the campfire and fellowship. The kids were even occupied playing games. Good luck everyone at the state convention!
