This rare, beautiful quartz is one of my favorites, definitely in my top 10! We recently acquired a gorgeous selection of Amphibole quartz from Brazil. These are exceptional quality and beauty! Stop in and take a favorite piece home!
Amphibole quartz is a rare variety of clear quartz containing wispy, feather-like mineral inclusions from the amphibole group, such as actinolite or hornblende, limonite, tremolite and hematite. It features soft, cloud-like or flame-like internal structures that resemble angel wings, earning it the nickname Angel Phantom Quartz, Red Rabbit Quartz or Rabbit Hair Quartz due to the wispy-ness. Inclusions vary in color, showing shades of red, yellow, brown, white, green, or blue depending on secondary mineral impurities like hematite or limonite. High-quality commercial specimens come primarily from Brazil (such as Bahia and Minas Gerais) and select locations like Nigeria.
Amphibole quartz can be used to open the third eye and crown chakras, aiding in meditation and higher consciousness. It is believed to soothe emotional tension, quiet internal chatter, and foster a sense of inner peace. The feather-like inclusions act like a protective wing wrapped around your aura. It does not aggressively repel negative energy, instead, it raises your vibration so high that lower energies, anxiety, and stress simply dissolve. It infuses the emotional body with a sense of pure, gentle validation, helping you release fears of judgment and judgment of others.
