Good morning, my friends.
Just an update on the grab bags. They ARE coming, I promise. I’ve been packing boxes up but then something comes up and I get distracted.
Mailing date, I hope, is this weekend.

I have 2 more available. Plus, I’ll be doing another grab bag with more of my newer pieces. I don’t know what that will look like yet.

Thank you for your support during this crazy time. My husband is doing remarkably well, his life is definitely a miracle, and we have a long road ahead of us. But if anyone can power through, it’s my husband.

Hello, friends.
I know it’s been a hot minute, but I have a few updates and a plea.

My husband was in a horrific motorcycle accident. A pickup truck crossed into his lane and hit him head on. He was in SICU for about 10 days and is now in a trauma unit. He had torn organs, a shattered femur and pelvis among other injuries. It’s going to be a long road.
We have a lot of expenses coming our way on top of our normal “living life” bills and I’m trying to figure out how to best take care of this.
The main thing is that we pay for our health insurance out of pocket.

I have TWO things going on:
First, I have Sparrow grab bags up for sale. All merchandise is worth $15 or more and I will include FIVE (5) PIECES OF JEWELRY in each (retail value of $75 or more). I’m selling them for $50 a bag.
To purchase a bag, comment SOLD and then message me your address.
I’ll be accepting Venmo -sunshine-angstadt
I will ship these out by the end of the week.
I have 10 bags available!!!

Second, you can find new Sparrow merch at Mayfield On Noble in Kutztown. That’s a great way to support me and other great vendors!!!

Lastly, I have put Sparrow Restored’s Etsy page on vacation.

I just wanted to take a moment for a huge THANK YOU for all who visited my booth (and maybe purchased a few lovelies). Seeing you and feeling supported is always enough. You all need to know that I appreciate you so much🤍

I am more than half way through my Esthetics education, so once I graduate and am not immersed in skin care, I’m hoping to get back to designing.
And one last shameless plea, if you’re in the Reading, PA area, start summer off with a facial, wax (smooth legs and underarms 10/10), or a brow tint or lash lift and tint. Send a DM for details!

It’s President’s Day so how about a little history lesson.
During World War II, due to wartime shortages of copper, the US Mint struck steel coated with zinc to make the Steel Penny in 1943. It was often referred to as the wartime cent, steel war penny, zinc cent, and steelie.
I managed to get my hands on a few and I thought today would be the perfect day to showcase them.
I have one pair of earrings and a pendant necklace available. I left some of the imprint so it can still be seen.
It’s such a cool piece of US History and they’re gorgeous. Snag them in the etsy shop before they’re gone!
