The Riverfront Market is on the move…but just for one day!

With the Steamboat Classic Road Race happening this Saturday, June 6, in Downtown Peoria, the market is TEMPORARILY being moved to the parking lot of Northwoods Mall. THIS IS JUST THIS SATURDAY.

With extensive street closures required for the race, the organizers want to avoid the hassles of getting to the market and finding parking, so they are making a TEMPORARY move to the mall.

Same great vendors, same awesome local vibe! And if it’s been a minute since you’ve visited, check out all the local businesses now located in the mall.

Join us on our adventure and shop the market **this Saturday only** 8-Noon, at Northwoods Mall.

I went back to school in January, and I’m absolutely the oldest person in all of my classes.
It’s fine.
Totally fine.
I’ve actually done this before. I’m just much older than my classmates this time instead of average older.
It’s fine 😬
Anyway.
I was recently promoted at my home health care job, and because of that I had to switch all of my in person classes to online. Which is a struggle for me, because I have a really hard time focusing when left to my own devices. Study location matters so much when it comes to my success as a student. So shout out to cxtcoffee’s Campus Town location and staff for providing great service, great coffee, and a great place for me to study. They have been so welcoming - and it’s so close to my house!

It’s really great to have them in the neighborhood, so I hope you’ll stop by and show them some support so that they stick around ❤️

Saturday is the first Peoria Riverfront Market of the season, and I will absolutely be there! In addition to all sorts of jewelry made from reclaimed materials, I’ll also have an educational table, free seashells for kids and $5 kids craft packs! I literally cannot wait to see your faces 😍

hello!

I have LOVED our open studio Saturdays these past few months, so I’m bummed to tell you…I have to put them on pause for awhile. With the Riverfront Market just around the corner,
and my being in school and working 2 new jobs, I’m finding that I’m a bit short on time these days. So I need to take my Saturdays back for a while.

I’m hoping that once I get settled back into the market, that I’ll be able to come up with a new plan. Because seriously- it has been such a joy to host you and your art projects.

I do plan on having an educational table at the market again, with free seashells for everyone, and lots of beautiful recycled/upcycled/trashy art for sale. I hope you’ll come see me there until we can share my studio again.

Earrings made with plastic lids and discarded ball pit balls … because sometimes your balls just get worn out, and worn out balls can’t be traditionally recycled.

Lucky for all of us, I love your old balls and know just what to do with them 😘
