One of the most beautiful things about memorial jewelry is that it allows us to keep our loved ones close, no matter where life takes us.

Every adventure, every hike, every mountain view, every beautiful sunset, I carry my brother with me. From ziplining in Colorado, to whitewater rafting, to finally making the trip to see his friend’s house in Costa Rica that he was never able to visit, I’ve carried him with me.

Wearing my jewelry reminds me that he is still part of my story, still sharing in these moments with me and my family. A piece of him always by our side.

I often find myself looking down at my necklace or ring and saying, “You would have loved this.” And I can feel his spirit right there beside me.

The places we dreamed of, the sunsets he would have admired, the mountains he loved so much, the places he never got to make it to while he was here, I get to take him with me through all of it. And I have so many plans and adventures yet to come.

I love it when I get a request for something that I haven’t done before. The woman who designed this ring wanted to be able to visibly see the ashes of her Father, who had passed away from cancer. She chose a purple stone with large veining of his ashes, and finished with a light gold shimmer. I think it turned out beautiful 💜
