A Tea Leaf jewelry

A Tea Leaf jewelry Iconic and super giftable jewelry inspired by nature, pets, vintage design, etc and made in PNW. The Pacific Northwest immediately began to inspire my artwork.

My most popular collection is cut-out brass jewelry that have allowed me to combine my background in graphic design and illustration with my love for jewelry. Ever since I was little, I've loved to make things with my hands. This started out as drawings and paintings, and then led to majoring in Graphic Design in college. After a few years in the real world, my husband and I (and our cat, Yoshimi)

packed up and moved to Portland to be surrounded by music, nature, and amazingly creative people. I started creating collage work with found papers & botanical drawings. I also got interested in the idea of making my art/designs wearable and began learning about jewelry making. I found that jewelry allowed me to explore art from a whole new perspective. I was addicted! Today, A Tea Leaf jewelry is still inspired by nature and exploring the Pacific Northwest as well as vintage touches. As a "one woman shop", I do it all: from concept to creation to packaging and shipping. It all happens from A Tea Leaf HQ. CONNECT:

I’m retiring my air plant design soon 🌿

I have one silver pendant left that can be made into a necklace. There aren’t any silver earrings left, just this last silver necklace.

This piece was inspired by Tillandsia xerographica, a beautiful air plant with soft, curling leaves that grows without soil, often nestled in tree branches.

I still have a few gold versions available too, but the silver necklace will be going away once this last one is gone.

The trillium pieces are finally here 🌿

My original trillium sketches have now turned into lightweight metal pieces that somehow still feel delicate, which was exactly what I hoped for. It’s always a little surreal after all the time spent noticing the tiny shapes and obsessing about the details through the process.

These photos were taken near Hardy Falls, just north of Beacon Rock, with one very happy hiking buddy included at the end 🐾 And there’s a video from the trail too because the waterfall was too pretty not to share.

The trillium collection will be available on my Etsy tomorrow at 11am PST. I’ll also have them at the St. Johns Bizarre () this weekend if you want to see them in person. I will even have a few resin versions with me too, which turned out really fun.

I’m really excited about these ones. They feel very rooted in the spring and all the time I’ve spent outside lately ✨

I met someone at an art fair this weekend who was looking for a meaningful gift for her daughter who moved away from Oregon 🗻🌲🌿🍄🐌

She loved the idea of something that still felt like “home,” but wasn’t quite sure about jewelry. We started talking and landed on a custom Oregon suncatcher with an amethyst stone 💜

I made it today, and watching the light hit the prisms and cast little rainbows everywhere felt extra special knowing where it’s headed ☀️🌈✨

I’ve made a few of these now for people sending a little piece of Oregon to someone they love, and it never gets old 🥹

If you ever want something like this, whether it’s Oregon or another place that means something to you, I’m always happy to make something custom. Just send me a message 💌

I’ve been spending a lot of time at Lacamas Park lately, I think this was my fourth visit this year already 🌿

I’ve been seeing a lot of trillium. They look simple, but the more you look, the more interesting their shapes become. I’ve been sketching them in my little notebook.

This is usually how my jewelry starts, just slowing down and drawing what I see. From there, I bring the sketches into the computer to work with them, playing with positive and negative space and turning them into something wearable.

What I love about trillium is how you usually find just one on its own, tucked into the forest. They’re not everywhere, so it always feels special to come across one.

They have three petals (which makes them easy to identify), and they’re meant to be left where they are, since picking them can affect their future growth.

Curious if anyone else has been to Lacamas Park recently, or spotted trillium this season? Or do you have another favorite spring flower?
