Kukio Jewelry Handmade sterling silver earrings, rings & necklaces with stunning gem stones. Please plan on 2-3 hours for your workshop.

Workshop prices cover the entire workshop, instruction and guidance, materials (single stone, single band or chain) to make a sterling silver ring or pendant you take home with you. The workshop will take place in my converted barn in Valleyford, WA which is located just off of Dishman-Mica & Madison, Valleyford, WA. A variety of gemstones and natural stones & Sterling Silver bands and chains will

be available for you to choose from. My workshop is set up with four work spaces that can be purchased individually each available session. My workshop does have stairs up to the studio so it is not ADA accessible. The bathroom facilities are privative (composting toilet).

Week one of four, and what a beautiful start.

These two made the most stunning rings today, and I honestly loved watching the whole process unfold.

There’s something I really love about these four-week workshops. Having the same group back in my studio week after week creates something different. We share stories, laugh, encourage each other, celebrate the little wins, and slowly start to feel more comfortable with the tools and the process.

And getting to watch someone go from “I’ve never done this before” to holding a piece of jewelry they made with their own hands… that never gets old for me.

Today was wonderful. I’m so grateful for these two and already looking forward to the next three weeks together. I can’t wait to see what they create.

I mean, fossilized coral just gets me every time! The soft rose and orange tones, with those beautiful encapsulated flowers, are so incredibly special. There’s something about the way this stone captures a little piece of ancient life that I just love.

Set in sterling silver with delicate silver ball accents, the setting is designed to let the fossilized coral be the star of the show. The patterned gold fill cuff band adds the perfect warmth, pulling out those beautiful peachy and rose tones in the stone.

This cuff feels like a whole ocean story wrapped around your wrist—ancient coral, warm sunlit colors, and a little bit of that coastal magic I’m always drawn to. Completely handmade and one of a kind.

Well… I think an introduction is WAY overdue.

I’ve been meeting so many of you at markets, out shopping, and events, and then I’ll hear, “Oh my gosh, I follow you!” — only to realize you probably have absolutely no idea what I actually look like.

So… hi. I’m Sarah.

I’m the person behind the jewelry, the workshops, and all the behind-the-scenes chaos you usually see without actually seeing me.

And here’s the funny part…

I’ve taught well over 300 people in my workshops, and if you went through all the photos, you will find hundreds of people making jewelry…

but somehow almost never me.

I have been very good at hiding behind the camera.

The truth is, being on camera makes me nervous. Like… REALLY nervous. But I’ve decided it’s time to get over myself and face that fear.

Because there’s so much more I want to share with you and not just what I make, but why I make it, the people I’ve met along the way, the artists who inspire me, and where I’d love to take this next.

And speaking of what comes next…

I’ve been dreaming about something bigger for the creative community here in the Inland Northwest, and I want to start bringing you along for the journey.

So you’re probably going to be seeing a lot more of this face.

There is something about the soft baby blue of aquamarine that is unlike any other color. Cool, delicate, and luminous, this stone has a quiet beauty that immediately draws you in.

The aquamarine is set in a way that makes it appear to float just above the sterling silver bar, giving the piece a light and unexpected look. The bar itself is completely hand-shaped to cradle the stone, creating a custom setting designed specifically for this beautiful piece of aquamarine.

Okay Spokane friends… I need your opinions. 👀

I’ve been giving a LOT of thought to something that feels both incredibly exciting and slightly terrifying…

What if I opened a retail space in the Spokane area?

I absolutely love my studio and everything that has happened there. But I keep imagining something a little bigger — a storefront that could become a gathering place for handmade art and creativity.

A space that features local artists + Kukio Jewelry + one-of-a-kind handmade goods + workshops.

A place where you could stop in while you’re out shopping, discover something you’ve never seen before, meet local makers, pick up a unique gift, or take a workshop and make something yourself.

And I’d love for other local artists to have the opportunity to share their work or teach workshops, too.

So… I want to know what YOU would want.

📍 LOCATION: Where in the Spokane area would you actually go? Downtown? South Hill? Spokane Valley? Kendall Yards? Garland? Somewhere else?

🛠️ WORKSHOPS: What would you love to learn? Jewelry? Ceramics? Painting? Fiber arts? Macramé? Woodworking? Something completely different?

Petrified Wood & Natural Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Earrings
