“The Hem. His garment.” - painted in 2026
He rebuilt her.
She was proof that broken things can still be made beautiful.
Beauty for ashes.
Joy for mourning.
She was slowly unraveling into someone stronger.
The withered flowers within her soul were starting to bloom again.
Her healing wasn’t pretty but it was powerful.
She quit feeding her wounds.
She covered them in oil.
Her wounds birthed beauty.
The lies began to detach from the girl in the mirror.
She sees beauty.
She sees worthy.
She sees whole.
She sees enough.
She sees clean.
Her fragile heart found His healing hands.
Some scars remain but it gives her glimpses of how she survived.
How she crawled.
How she pushed.
And how she reached.
Reaching only for the hem of His garment.
The hem of His garment where healing and restoration was done.
