Our Story

Hello name is Phylicia Hancock. I am creative thinker of Knotty Beader & More. I started working towards this business in 2010. I would find patterns and create jewlery for myself and my family. In 2016 I decided I wanted to offer people what I created. I opened a booth at Branson Mill Craft Village late 2016. I create custom patterns and replicate peices not readily available in this area. I find that people often struggle to find unique items to wear or to gift. Most of what I do is a “limited amount of product”.This means I make 1 to 3 peices or sets of the same pattern to sell. It can take me anywhere from a few mintues to finish a peice to hours. It all depends on what I am working on at the time and how complex the idea is. Brick stitch peices (a form of sewing the beads together) takes me the longest to do. Most patterns range from 20 sead beads to 1000’s of sead beads. I find ideas from the internet and alot from Pintrest, but with my own twist. I create everyday wearable items to special holiday items. My best sellers are Fall, Christmas and Red White & Blue. I also offer customizable items.

I also am an artist by trade. I sell my painitings and drawings as well as some other crafts that I do. I travel around to Missouri Craft shows, showcasing my products as well. Keep and eye out and you might just see me around.

2018 Knotty Beader & More has started offering Paint Parties and Jewelry Classes.

2019/2020 Knotty Beader & More has created an online website and store. knottybeaderandmore.com
