Full Moon Blessings for our May 1st Flower Moon in Scorpio! There is much energy afoot in this transitional time, and the ally that is stepping in to offer assistance is Blue Pietersite! Known as a tonic for the nervous system, this stone can also be helpful with grounding and providing strength to the chakra system. With the moon in intense Scorpio, Blue Pietersite may help calm emotional eruptions to a lava flow that is easier to handle. In this year of the Fire Horse we will have a tendency to be easily over-stimulated so you may want to keep this cool blue Stone Ally close in the future as well. Self care is first priority and remember to give yourself regular "brain breaks" or just breathe for a few minutes when the energies get too intense. With this first New Moon of 2026, and dawning the true Aquarian times, I thought it would be fun to do a post on best allies from the Crystalline Realm to assist you with optimizing your energies for this shift! You can reach out for Black Obsidian to help cleanse your energy bodies and help protect against non-beneficial energies. Since Obsidian comes right from the Source of Mother Earth, it is an excellent grounding stone, which is invaluable with the rapidly changing world around us right now. You are still responsible for keeping good energetic hygiene in your environment of course, i.e. limiting exposure to the news and toxic people/situations, etc. You control your own vibration and narrative! The Galilean Telescope Ring of the 19th Century

In the world of 18th and 19th-century innovation and ornamentation, few objects blend science and style as elegantly as the Galilean telescope ring. This remarkable French example, dating from around 1820, is a striking piece of wearable ingenuity.

At first glance, it appears to be just an ornate ring. But with a delicate flick, it opens to reveal a miniature Galilean telescope, a design that pairs a convex (converging) lens with a concave (diverging) lens—a system first conceptualized in Italy in the 1580s and later refined in the Netherlands.

While early versions offered limited magnification, it was Galileo Galilei who famously improved the design in the early 17th century, achieving up to 30x magnification. By the 18th century, these compact telescopes had become fashionable curiosities, often integrated into rings, canes, pendants, and s***f boxes, symbolizing the era’s fascination with science, exploration, and craftsmanship.
