A customer came to us looking for something very specific… a dark green pear shaped diamond around one carat 💚✨

When you’re looking at colored diamonds, the wording on a diamond certificate matters more than most people realize ✨

Terms like Fancy Intense and Fancy Vivid aren’t just descriptive… they tell you exactly how strong and saturated the color will appear in the diamond

In this video, I’m using yellow diamonds as an example to break it down

You’re looking at two 6 carat cushion cut yellow diamonds side by side

On the right is a Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond
This means the color is highly saturated, bright, and extremely strong
This is often what people are referring to when they say a “canary” yellow diamond
You’ll notice that bold, almost neon look that immediately stands out

On the left is a Fancy Intense Yellow Diamond
Still rich in color, but slightly softer in comparison
The tone can feel a bit warmer or more subtly muted, giving it a more classic and understated look

Both are beautiful. Both are yellow colored diamonds.
The difference comes down to how bold you want that color to show

And that’s the key… the wording on a diamond certificate isn’t random
It’s telling you exactly what you can expect to see in real life

This is a very special custom piece we created for one of our clients. At the center is an over 5 carat Fancy Blue emerald cut diamond set in platinum and accented with two trapezoid cut white diamonds. The step cuts across all three stones create a clean, balanced, and incredibly timeless look.
When you are looking at a fancy blue diamond like this, what you want to see is color that is rich, even and glowing throughout the entire stone. No matter the angle, the blue should stay consistent and alive not patchy or dull. This is what makes a stone like this so captivating!
This piece is the definition of quiet luxury. Classic, powerful, and completely unforgettable!

This custom ring was just finished this morning and I had to share it! It features a beautiful emerald cut aquamarine, the birthstone for March. We set the stone in 14 karat rose gold with a tulip style head that really lets the aquamarine sit up and shine. Along the sides of the ring there are diamond accents that add just the right amount of sparkle without taking away from that incredible center stone.

What I love most about this piece is how the rose gold brings out the vibrant blue of the aquamarine. The contrast between the warm metal and that cool ocean color just makes the stone come alive. This is easily one of my favorite rings we have created this March.

Happy birthday to all of the March babies out there! Aquamarine is such a beautiful and meaningful stone to celebrate with.
