Sometimes adventure calls. Sometimes invisible threads align and a portion of your life takes on a new, unexpected but fully embraced shape. 17 years ago, I met a handsome, quirky artist under the Autumnal Full Moon on a lakeside camp out. and I were both in costume, both in character. We told stories played drums and danced, and talked late into the night with a gathering of friends. On the second night, I asked his name. And as he walked away from my tent, I chanted it three times. Eric....Eric...Eric. It was my way of remembering him, but some romantic part of me can't help but wonder if it might not have woven a kind of lover's spell. 💋💌🤞
Whatever it was, it worked! 🤴👸
Flash forward to present time. We live with a lot of ease between us... like old lovers who both wish to be close but who trust that who we are and how we are is more than enough to fill two hearts in this lifetime. (Can I say how lucky we know we are to have that?!)
And so, another adventure invited us say yes to a magical time together this past weekend as we discovered a Hobbit House 🏠 🍄 available in an area we were going to be traveling on for our 17th equinox anniversary. We grabbed some garb, tucked into the magical space and agreed we felt those same bright sparks of unfolding threads that brought us together in the first place. 💞
If you are visiting the Dallas area an are interested in staying at the Hobbit House, look them up on . They are in McKinney Texas. We will be going back again, I am sure!
