Thank you for all the abalone love this week!!
There are only 2 abalone beaded bracelets left in the shop✌️ - the black lava and pearl that I posted a few days ago, and this one. It's a different abalone bead, but it's double-sided, too. And it POPS with those aqua Java recycled glass bead. 🩵
Ok, time to go have a pumpkin streusel muffin. Thanks, Trader Joe's, for my winter weight starter kit!

Well, Blood Cancer Awareness Month flew by! 🩸
This month, he saw his oncologist, infectious disease specialist (bi-product of remission due to immunosuppression), and pain specialist. Along with prescriptions, regular labs, acupuncture and chiropractic care - and me seeing a primary for the first time in 2 years because caregivers never care for themselves - our medical bills were nearly a third of our income for the month. 💸
So, when we say THANK YOU and that we APPRECIATE each and every sale, no matter how small, we're not just being nice. We sincerely do. 🙏🏼 It means more than you know. Even if you LIKE and send us messages and COMMENT, you're helping us stay afloat. 🥰
And I love when Jon can sit there at the table and finish up an order. 😍

I'll admit it, I had a Pumpkin Spice Latte already. 😅
I love Fall. I'm one of those odd people. Yes, the days start getting shorter, but it feels like a release from summer's pressure to get so much done for so much of the day. Autumn has soft light and gentle sun. It invites long afternoons with friends, and then going to sleep early...which is pretty much our speed. 😉
Fall-tumn also has great colors - warm tones like these Carnelian beads and golden light as the lamp work bead here.

Sure, we love bright pops of color here at ABOTS. But we also love "ocean elegance".
This is a bracelet I can see wearing to dinner at our favorite local seaside restaurant at one of the Pismo Beach resorts.
It gives me the resort vacation feel while still being on our "staycation" budget. 😉

Sorry, sponge joke.
Whar a bore. Seriously, sponge you glad I don't have more? Clam up already, you say!
Ok, ok. But isn't the pitting on this abalone (made by a boring sponge (or mud worms - eww!!)) really unique? Sadly, it doesn't seem to make the abalone's day better.

Here's me, saying the beachy blues and crisp whites are for all year long. 😅
