A, B, C, or D? What's your guess? Comment below!

This is a huge 71 carat Moonstone! This should make a fantastic pendant necklace!

I hope you're enjoying me sharing pieces of my gemstone collection with you!

Ep. 2: What is this? A, B, C, D or E? What did you guess??

I L❤ve turquoise, and my favorite pieces are usually pieces of Nevada No. 8. I love the golden brown veining that turquoise from that mine is known for.

The mine stopped producing turquoise around 1976, so I always feel very grateful when I'm able to find a beautiful piece.

Another answer??? It's a labradorite!

Side note, I had planned on doing my own voiceover, but I literally couldn't pronounce most of option C! 🤣🤣🤣

Have you ever started a project, and even though you thought you had it well planned out, it started to go sideways?

Maybe you got so frustrated with it, that you decided the best plan was to just start over?

Well, that's how this pendant started. I had big ideas, and then while trying to make the frame, it started to go sideways. Literally. It was so crooked and the more I tried to work it, the worse it got.

I decided to start another pendant, and had planned on taking this one apart. But after finishing the next one, I looked at it with fresh eyes, and somehow it just started to all come together.

It's not finished yet, I still need to clean up (sand down) all the little nicks and scratches on the silver.

To be perfectly honest, I could oxidize this, polish it up and tell you it's finished. The nicks are tiny and I'm sure no one would ever notice them.

But I would know. And I would know that I should've taken the time to clean this piece up. I know that the value is in all the details.

I take great joy in making these pieces of jewelry and I am a huge believer in doing the best job you possibly can, so under the sandpaper this piece goes!

I can't wait to finish it up and antique the silver. Then comes my favorite part... sharing it with you!

If you read all of this, thanks for sticking around! 🤣🤣🤣

Larimar. It's always been a stone that's fascinated me. It must be that beautiful blue color.

So it was with such joy that I wrapped this stone with sterling silver. I can't even tell you how excited and happy I am with this pendant.

Whoever ends up with this necklace is going to really enjoy it. Look how beautiful that blue looks contrasting with earthy tones.

I have to admit, my secret wish is for this to be worn by a bride at her wedding. Something blue? 😍

I have a few pieces of larimar in my gemstone collection, and I can't wait to start another piece!

Are you familiar with Larimar?
