Happy weekend before Thanksgiving! We're thankful this year for all of the small businesses that call Downtown Florence home. Be sure to stop by, check out the unique shopping and dining while you're in town, and love your hometown by shopping local for the holidays. Here's what you can find going on this weekend:
🦃 Funky Flow Fitness and Jiu Jitsu has their weekly Ladies Only class on Friday at 5:45 followed by their adult competition class on Sunday at 11 a.m.
🦃 Learn all about herbalism at the Florence County Public Library from 1-2 p.m. on Friday and kids in 3rd-5th grade can explore the mysteries of their favorite cryptid creatures from 3:30-4:15 p.m.
🦃 Leaf Lounge celebrates their 6th anniversary on Friday from 6-10 p.m. with music by DJ Stylez and specials all weekend long!
🦃 Cit-T-Sol plays live at Jazz On Dargan Friday at 7 p.m. followed by Lunar Haze and Friends on Saturday at 7 p.m.
🦃 Grace&Grounding hosts a FREE yoga class (registration required) on Friday at 7 p.m.
🦃 On Saturday, start your morning with the City Center Farmers Market from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Grab those last-minute Thanksgiving meal staples and avoid the rush at the grocery store!
🦃 From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday enjoy the latest exhibits, Thunder & Wonder and the 2025 Juried FMU Student Show at the FMU Gately Gallery. Admission is FREE and the shows are exceptional! Make a day of it and also check out the new Cecil Williams photography exhibit at the Florence County Museum.
🦃 At 11 a.m. on Saturday, kids and adults alike will love the Florence Little Theatre Schoolhouse Players production of Toyland! Tickets are still available.
🦃 Addie's Baby Paint & Wine Studio hosts their popular Trap, Paint, and Groove class on Saturday at 6 p.m. This tends to sell out, so grab your seat early!
🦃 Catch live music by Shain Weston Lyles at Cru Wine & Tap Saturday from 6-9 p.m.
🦃 Sunday, Wholly Smokin' Downtown rounds out the weekend with live music by Chad and Lance from noon until 3 p.m.
