Just finished weaving in the ends on a bag that I started over 5 years ago. I’m so happy to put the finishing touches on a bag that, truth be told, I didn’t love at the time. Looking at it now, I can safely say that I clearly didn’t know what I was thinking.

Finished another little crochet project! This one was so much fun to make and taught me a few different techniques that I hadn’t used before. I first learned how to crochet (more like the basic idea of it) when I was a kid, then as an adult taught myself how to knit. Just over the past year or so have I really jumped into the world of crochet that now going to back to knitting is difficult! 🥴 Either way, this little stuffy is just one more little piece that I get to add to the growing handmade items for our newest little addition, due in August. 💕

I’ve been working hard on getting better with crochet, but had to move back from making a baby garment to these beautiful Radiant Washcloths. This first one definitely has some mistakes, but it was a learning process for sure! I’m currently working on a second one and may even make the whole collection! Hi y’all! It’s been sometime since I’ve done a formal introduction, my name is Brigitte and not only do I knit and crochet, but I’m an Aquatics Director at a YMCA in the Conejo Valley, CA! I am asking for any help in raising funds to be able to help provide amazing programs to our community for everyone to enjoy. Hi there! Here’s my annual reminder that I am still here and while I’m not knitting as much as I used to, I will pick up the needles from time to time. 😅 With the long holiday weekend and Christmas just around the corner, I thought I’d dust off my yarn and make a few things! I started with the cutest little hats (who doesn’t love mini knits?!?!) and then started on this squishy knit. This is the House Pride Hat by ♥️ I love this pattern! It’s the best for an easy but interesting knit…however, I greatly misjudged the amount of yarn I had in my Petite Wool stash. I might have to make some unconventional color choices here to finish it up! 🫣

I haven’t really been able to knit lately. I did semi-finish a new hat that I can’t wait to show you! ♥️ It was a nice little challenge, especially it being the first hat I’ve made in over a year 😆 But I love the pattern and I can’t wait to make more!
