✨ Orders of the Week at Freckled Heart ✨

The workbench has been a little bit of everything this week. 🖤

Vintage silverware is being given a whole new life as rings, pendants, hearts, and personalized pieces — plus a set of engraved California “Cheers to That” wine charms with birthstone accents. 🍷✨

This is one of my favorite parts of what I do: no two pieces of silverware are exactly alike, which means the finished jewelry isn't either. Every pattern, little bit of patina, and detail gets to become something completely new while still carrying a piece of its past.

Some are becoming gifts. Some are keepsakes. Some are just because someone saw a piece and said, Yep. That's mine. 😂

And I'm perfectly okay with all three.

There is nothing soft about making a heart.

​No heat. No shortcuts. Just vintage, heavy-gauge silverware, a manual cold bender, and some serious leverage. This is a quick, sped-up look at what a normal afternoon looks like in the workshop—turning forgotten history into something you can wear.

​Every single one of these hearts is shaped by hand, cold-bent with raw muscle and a lot of patience. It’s hard on the hands, but there’s something beautiful about forcing old steel and silver to bend without breaking it.
