Each bead began its journey decades—sometimes centuries—ago, traveling across continents as part of early trade. Carried hand to hand, life to life, they’ve already lived so many stories before ever becoming what they are now.

Today, they begin again.

With immense gratitude, I’m honored to share that Ashsea Designs – Traveled Stories Collection is now available at
Salt Island beautifully curates local makers and handmade artistry that reflect the creative spirit of Key West. To have my work included in that space is something I deeply value.
Each piece in the Traveled Stories Collection begins with a rare vintage trade bead — shaped by time, travel, and human connection. Long before becoming jewelry, these beads moved through cultures and across continents. Today, they continue their journey here on the island.
I am truly humbled by this opportunity and incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported this path.
