Eyes have always held a special place in cultures around the world! They are often seen as powerful symbols, representing things like perception, intuition, and protection. Many different eye symbols carry unique meanings and beliefs.
One of the most famous symbols is the Evil Eye, which is well-known in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cultures, such as Greek, Turkish, and Arabic traditions. You’ll usually recognize it by its striking blue design. People believe it offers protection against misfortune and helps keep evil spirits at bay. You might even see the Evil Eye worn as a cute talisman or featured in jewelry and home décor. Isn’t it fascinating how such a simple symbol can carry so much meaning?
I made this for a very special friend. Her son had given her this eye on a red thread, which eventually broke. I’m sure some of us know how special anything is that our children give us🥰 She asked me if I could put it on a chain so she could wear it and treasure it. Finished in white gold. I have some eyes coming … stay tuned!
