We are constantly adding new and exciting jewelry to our inventory. Here at Out The Box we like to keep things natural while also keeping our prices fair. great customer service. A little about us here. We are from New York City, The Big Apple, The city that never sleeps, the place where everyone is exposed to versatility, constant change, and instant gratification, no matter your age. This is the city where you must think "OUT THE BOX” hence where we thought of the name for our body jewelry business. Just recently we have reconnected with our Taino roots and have learned , and continue learning more about our culture. A few things that has intrigued us, was the body modifications of our ancestors. We quickly realized that there was a whole culture of body modification. In that same learning process we found that our Taino ancestors would wear various materials as body jewelry, such as: Bone, Various stones, and certain woods only found on the island of Boriken, now known as Puerto Rico. Such a beautiful history and knowing that we are a part of it, we decided to get our septum pierced and stretch our lobes. Our children took on learning the history on their own as well. They discovered the meaning of each body modification and came to us with the decision to stretch their lobes as well. First let us say, we have four children and our youngest is four with no modifications of course. Our other three children range in ages from 12 to 14yrs old. To this day they are only stretching their lobes and are gauge size 2G, 12G, and 14G. Out The Box is not only a business to us but also our culture and lifestyle. We have created Out The Box Body Jewelry to share the beauty that is, Body Modification, with the rest of the world. Thank you for visiting our page!
