This was my first Foodies Eat First event, and it was pretty good!
Right off the bat, I was welcomed with a smile and a quick overview of what to expect. As soon as I walked in, I got a free sandwich from Barcelona Tapas and wow, it was delicious. That first bite definitely got my appetite going.
Next, I headed outside to try the BBQ from Macis' Prime. It was easily some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time so good that I had to go back for seconds. I made the mistake of filling up on lemonade too early, though, so I had to take a quick breather before tackling the rest of the food.
Once I was ready for round two, I managed to snag a Katz's pastrami sandwich. It was a total 10/10 Ice Cube’s It Was a Good Day was literally playing on repeat in my head. I was doing my best to pace myself, but I couldn't resist sampling the mac and cheese, candied sweet potatoes, and chicken wings from Gourmet Soul 10/10. That officially pushed me over the edge I was completely stuffed.
I grabbed a few sweet treats to take home for later to finish off the day. All in all, it was such a fun experience!
