Sometimes the flowers know what they want to be. 🌼🤍

This bride originally requested a “field of flowers” composition for bouquet. I created it… and then she decided it just wasn’t her bouquet.

So we changed course and went with a more traditional bouquet composition.

And OH, am I glad she did. 😍

Sometimes the first idea isn’t the final one. And that’s part of creating something truly special. 🌿

If I could give every future bride one piece of advice, it would be this: buy your flowers from a local flower farm.

Locally grown flowers are often fresher, more vibrant, and naturally more resilient—qualities that shine not only as you carry them down the aisle, but also months later when they're carefully preserved.

Supporting local growers also supports your community, reduces the distance your flowers travel, and honors the seasons in a way imported blooms simply can't.

These photos are a beautiful reminder that where your flowers come from matters. Their journey becomes part of your story, and part of the artwork they'll become.

After the incredible response to the reveal of this piece, I wanted to share a closer look—and a little more of the story behind it. 🤍

These flowers came from the Celebration of Life for my best friend’s father and traveled to me all the way from Sarasota, Florida.

We have walked through so many of life’s biggest moments together over the years, and to have her family trust me with these flowers and allow me to play a small part in honoring her father’s life means more to me than I can say.

This one will always be incredibly special to me. 🤍

This piece was created to honor a man who meant so much to so many—a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, and a friend. Together with his family, we created a winding mountain road, a beloved VW bus, and fields of wildflowers to symbolize the journey he continues beyond this life.

Working on memorial pieces has a way of making me pause and think about the people I've loved and lost, too. As I placed each flower, I found myself thinking about my own dad. It's a quiet reminder that while grief is deeply personal, love has a way of connecting all of us.

Thank you to this family for trusting me with such a meaningful tribute. It was truly an honor to help tell his story. 💛
