Headed to Vantage, Washington to pick up my kiddo after his spring break with his dad 💛

I’m not gonna lie… I’m also hoping to sneak in a few stops along the way 😅
Monday was kind of a bust for thrift and antique stores, so I’m crossing my fingers for some yard sales or garage sales this time around.

But honestly, this week has already been so fun.

I’ve been finding the loudest, most unique pieces… and I swear every single one of them feels like it belongs to a very specific person.

Like there’s a whole personality attached to each piece.

I put together a little video of some of my favorite finds from this week… and I can’t unsee it now — there really is a persona for everyone. I might need to sneak these pieces into my first shows on Whatnot.

This week has been a GOOD one for sourcing 👀

Between the bins, local finds, spring cleaning, and a few unexpected gems, I’ve brought in a few hundred pieces (yes… hundreds 😅)

Now comes the real work — photographing, listing, and getting everything into the shop.

I’m especially excited with yard sale season kicking off because that’s where some of the best, most unique pieces show up.

If you’ve been following along, you already know I love finding those “hidden in plain sight” items and giving them a second life 🖤

Listings are going up daily — and there’s a lot more coming.

Happy Thursday ☀️

Sitting here with my coffee this morning feeling really excited about where things are headed.

Yesterday was a big push. I got a ton of new items listed, packed up some orders, and just kept moving. We’re now sitting at 830+ items in my Poshmark shop, which still kind of blows my mind, and a lot of those are cross-listed over on eBay, Mercari, and Depop too.

✨ Sharing a few of the pieces I just listed. Some of these are already getting attention 👀

This morning I’ve got a few more orders to pack and a post office run, then I’m diving back into listing for a bit.

And then the fun part 👀
Planning to head out into the wild later today and check out some thrift and antique spots I haven’t been to yet.

I’m really getting excited for yard sale season too. I’ll be heading out to pick up my kiddo in Vantage this weekend, and I’m crossing my fingers for some small town yard sale magic along the way 🤞

Last weekend was kind of a bust, but that’s how it goes sometimes. You just keep showing up.

Okay… I’m giving this page a real second (maybe third 😅) life.

Thriftyaffair originally started years ago during my Etsy days, and I tried to bring it back again when I was selling on Poshmark… but life kept evolving—and honestly, so have I.

Now I’m selling across multiple platforms, listing daily, and getting ready to step into live sales (which is both exciting and a little terrifying).

But what I really want this page to be is a place to connect.

I genuinely love finding pieces for people—whether it’s something random, vintage, or just a really good deal—and I want to start bringing in more of what people actually want.
