Think of a natural diamond like ice from a glacier, and a lab diamond like ice from your freezer. Both are made of pure water (H2 O), both are freezing cold, and both look identical in a glass. One was formed by nature over thousands of years, and the other was formed by technology in a controlled environment.
Physically, chemically, and optically, lab diamonds are 100% real diamonds. They aren't cubic zirconia or moissanite. Even a seasoned jeweler cannot tell them apart without specialized laboratory equipment.
So, how do you choose? It comes down to what you value most:
