Onyx and Pearls Cotillion-Beautillion, 2015-16 Highlights of the Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Montgomery County Maryland Chapter's 4th Biennial Cotillion-Beautillion: Onyx and Pearls.

The Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Montgomery County Maryland Chapter, is pleased to announce our 4th Biennial Cotillion-Beautillion Program, a premier youth leadership development program that culminates April 2, 2016, with the 2016 Onyx & Pearls Ball, a black-tie dinner, presentation ceremony and dance. Our Cotillion-Beautillion program is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who

reside in or attend school in Montgomery County Maryland, as well as those whose mothers are members of a Jack and Jill Chapter in the state of Maryland or the District of Columbia. The program offers several workshops that focus on leadership, etiquette and skills that are pertinent to effectuating a smooth transition into the college years and beyond. Topics such as navigating the college admissions process, developing a personal brand, and networking with confidence will be presented at the workshops. Our program also includes community service, which will reinforce the importance of continued philanthropy into adulthood. In preparation for the formal presentation at the Onyx & Pearls Ball, our debutantes and beaux will be given instructions on several formal dances. Participation in the program will require fundraising, and participants will have the opportunity to earn funds that can be used towards college application fees, and SAT/ACT preparation and testing fees.
