Minnesota Deer Hunter's Association - Wilderness Chapter, Silver Bay, MN The Wilderness Chapter of the MDHA supports our local sportsmen community.

The Wilderness Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunter's Association is a local organization which supports the mission of “working for tomorrow’s wildlife and hunters today.” Our main goal is encouraging youth participation to build a stronger generation of future conservationists. We do this by:
• Providing youth firearm safety classes
• Hosting a Youth Day at the Silver Beaver Range, providing an

opportunity to safely handle and shoot firearms along with exploring other fields such as archery
• Sending at least six youth members to the MDHA’s Forkhorn Camp where they learn about map/compass orienteering, firearm and bow safety, outdoor survival skills, wildlife ecology and much more
• Contributing to the local library
• Offering support to other community organizations promoting sportsmanship
