If you’ve ever wanted to check out the local K-pop scene, the SBC K-pop Pop Up K-pop Bingo Market is the perfect place to start. We’re hosting a Bingo Market with some incredible vendors, a cosplay contest, and delicious treats from Tea Mochi. 🧋

It’s totally free to come walk around and shop. If you want to play Bingo, cards are 1 for $2 or 6 for $10! Plus, you can enter our Mega Vendor Basket giveaway just by visiting the booths—no purchase necessary.

Dear Members and Local Arts Community,

We are truly grateful for the love and support we have received over the past few weeks. We have been diligently working to address our financial situation by providing the necessary documentation to our CPA for completing the required reports. Additionally, we have offered to share updates on progress and answer any questions with all city council members, as well as the City Attorney, CAO, and Mayor.

The Bossier Arts Council remains fully operational and hopes for your support of our current and upcoming programming. Contrary to some claims, the Bossier Arts Council is NOT going away. We may need to vacate our building but we will persevere and continue to provide valuable programming to the community and beyond.

As we continue to focus on our mission and a resolution, here are several ways you can help:

• Attend the Bossier Parish 2025–2026 Student Art Show on display to March 21st. Your presence encourages young artists and strengthens the programs that make our community vibrant.

• Become a member of the Bossier Arts Council at bossierarts.org/membership | Memberships provide meaningful support that helps us continue serving local artists, students, and families.

• Purchase local artist works from our BAC Gift Shop, open Tuesday–Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM. Every purchase directly benefits local creators and helps sustain the creative space they depend on.

• Join us for the remainder of our March programming including BAC Brew - Artist Support with Karen La Beau , The Liner. - The King of Pop: Off The Wall VS Thriller , and A-Part Acting Workshop feat. Landrum Arts La Talent Agency! When you participate, you help keep these enriching community experiences going.

• Come out to Flying Heart Brewing & Pub's Give Back Night on Wednesday, March 11th from 5 PM - 9 PM. 10 % of the proceeds from the evening will be donated in support of our organization!

•Donate to BAC at Bossier Arts Council » Donate. Now more than ever, your contribution makes a real difference in helping us continue offering the arts programs and spaces our community values.

Life has been a little chaotic this week, but I’ve finally had time to sit down and think about the devastating news we received concerning the Bossier Arts Council - BAC.

If you’ve been living under a rock, the City of Bossier has decided to cut ties with the Bossier Arts Council after 40 years of partnership.

To say this is a blow to our community is an understatement. As a small business owner, the BAC has been instrumental to AJ’s Creations. They didn’t just give me a booth at the Zombie Walk or the Spring and Christmas markets; they gave me a platform to be seen and heard, like they’ve done with so many other small businesses.

But more importantly, the BAC is a champion for the "hidden" talent in our city. They have spent decades making sure aspiring creators and young artists have a voice. They provide the mentorship and the confidence-boost that a new artist needs to transition from "hobbyist" to "professional." Whether it’s through their galleries, their classes, or even the professional photographer they provide on-site to help us look our best—they invest in the people of our community.

Bossier is more vibrant because of the BAC, and I am forever grateful for the doors they’ve opened for me and so many others. 💛

Now, it’s our turn to show up for them. 💛

✨ Grab Dinner at Flying Heart: Visit Flying Heart Brewing & Pub - Bossier City on Wednesday, March 11 (5–9 PM) for their Give Back Night. 10% of proceeds go directly to the BAC!

🎨 Shop Local: Stop by the BAC gift shop this month to purchase unique work from local artists. They are open Tuesday–Saturday, 11 AM – 5 PM.

It’s 9 days until Christmas and this post is for the physical book girlies and lovers!

I make my own magnetic bookmarks and resin page holders!

These are just a few of the designs I’ve had fun making, but I can also make customized magnetic bookmarks as well!

The resin page holders have been something I’ve seen going around for a while, so I decided to buy some molds and try them out myself! These nifty little things will help you hold your book open whether you’re reading it on a flat surface or if you’re holding it in your hand. They’re light weight and easy to manage for all hand sizes!

My magnetic bookmarks are $4/each and my page holders are $8/each!
