Dang Brave Girl Brave Jewelry for life's Mountains and Valleys, created to carry you across Rivers and through Forests. I share that with you because it's important.

I started making jewelry after my son Jesse died in 2011. Life changing important. I think it became some sort of therapy and way of coping. As I learn to live with that loss I can tell you that I am being transformed. It is wholly and fully through the GRACE OF GOD that I am brave. I certainly don't feel like it at times but I am blessed with my other talented, brave son Tucker, an amazing family

Amber is like captured sunshine we get to wear ☀️..... I always knew I loved it, but in working with it this time, making these new pieces, it was easy to get lost in that warm glow and fall in love all over again.

Howdy, I'm here... Friday was my 59th birthday and I've been quiet and I've noticed that over the last year or maybe longer, that posting regularly (daily or more) just hasn't aligned with where my head and heart are.
I don't know why exactly but if I'm not really feeling authentic about a post, I just put my phone down. It's definitely easier when I'm in the middle of a collection and feel that I've got something cool enough to share... but other than that, I'm just working and living.

Maybe it's just a season (long ass season at this point 😉) and it'll pass but until then thank you for sticking around for my infrequent shares.

I took this picture Saturday night, right before I started a studio overhaul. My family gifted me a jewelers bench for my birthday. Oddly enough I've never wanted one, as I've been using big, old farmhouse tables and perfectly content. But recently I've been considering, planning and moving towards creating a space for students here... so that means downsizing my personal workspace (i like lots of room to work).... so the new bench is in place, pictures to come, as well as more thoughts about future classes.

That could very well be something to get excited about 🧡.

No designs drawn yet but the ideas are flowing.... and I've got a soft spot for Amber, one of my first pieces of jewelry was a Amber ring. Amazingly enough, I still have yet. Ever notice that we might throw out or donate old clothing but never jewelry? I love how it holds memories and meaning, even if we never wear it again 🧡. Just knowing it's there is enough.

These 2 turquoise rings are both in the new Sunflower Collection and while they both have the same sentiment stamped on the band, they are very different from each other.
One has a chunky, Live Edge band and they other is a slimmer, stacker style band. Both are comfy, gorgeous and sweet reminders to Keep Blooming!
