Extremely honored to have received the Silver Medal last night from the American Advertising Federation’s Suncoast chapter. Huge thanks to Children First, Inc. for nominating me and for your years of creative partnership and support. It was also a full-circle moment, as I served on the AdFed Suncoast board from 2015-2017 and got to attend last night’s ADDYs gala with my friend Lindsey Nickel, who was board president at that time. I am truly humbled and grateful!

“The Silver Medal Award Program was established in 1959 by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) to recognize people who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence, and responsibility in areas of social concern. Annually, AAF member clubs bestow this honor upon outstanding members of the local advertising community. The Silver Medal is the highest award that AAF Suncoast can give. A panel of judges from the local club selects Silver Medal recipients.”

It is a privilege to collaborate with this life-changing organization every year to share inspirational stories from their learners. Their transformative classes and tutoring are offered free of charge thanks to community support.

Our award-winning video, "Kenny's Story," was created in partnership with BRAD!BRYAN Multimedia Inc. and reflects on the experience of former parent and current board member Kenny Hughes. His son, Matthew, completed our program and continues to thrive in elementary school.
