I had a commission in the queue for a bangle of this material, so I went ahead with it. It came out so beautiful with such depth of color that once it had been sent off, I was inspired to cut another one!

That second one is pictured here in the first two photos, followed by a Big Sur Jade Bangle and another Guatemalan Blue Bangle, both with stunning features flowing through them.

One of the last commissions of the year. Family collection all from a stone my grandfather and I found in 2015. This stone is excellent quality with nice bright green sections.

Fresh off the bench & headed to tomorrow!

During warm summer nights on my grandfather’s jade claim, hundreds of dragonflies buzz overhead. Many different sizes and colors float effortlessly through the air in a choreographed dance. If you’re lucky, one may land close enough to admire.

Whenever I see a dragonfly I think of the times on the river looking for jade with no worries in the world. Floating through the stream in our own choreographed dance with nature.

“Resilience”
made for a client that was bit by a rattlesnake this year. The experience was difficult for her and she wanted to control the narrative. We collaborated on a pendant of a snake in a striking position looking at her. She still loves snakes and now has a potent reminder of her experience. 🐍
