Last night in SF started out great…and then around 6:30–7 PM, the drizzle came. Then the drops got bigger and bigger.
I had to change up the whole booth, put one table away, pull the front table inside, squeeze everything under the canopy and yes, some of our crochet cuties got wet 🥺
Thankfully, there was no crazy wind and the rain wasn’t too heavy. At one point I thought about packing everything away, but some of the cuties were already wet anyway and I couldn’t bring my car in until the event ended at 10, so I stayed!
And I’m honestly so glad I did. 💖
So many of you still came out in the rain. Some of you told me you’ve shopped with us before, remembered us from other events, or just stopped by to say hi. I LOVEEEE that!! 🥹🫶🫶🫶🫶
I may not talk much when you come by because I’m a little shy , but inside, my heart is BLOOMINGGGG 🌷💕
Every time someone says, “I remember you!” or “I bought from you before,” it seriously makes me soooo happy ♡૮₍ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ₎ა
And please, when you see us at an event, you never have to feel like you need to buy something. Come say hi!! It really means so much to us ˙ᵕ˙
Also, watching some of you check if the crochet was wet by SQUEEZING THEM 😂and then still wanting to take a wet little cutie home absolutely made my night.
SF will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first city I moved to when I came from Thailand, and I lived there for almost 3 years. There’s just something about the people and the energy here that I loveeeee. ❤️🌉
Big shoutout to Downtown First Thursdays team and all the volunteers for running such a great event and helping everyone throughout the night. The weather is the one thing nobody can control and somehow people were still out there shopping, hanging out, and having a good time in the rain.
Thank you so much for showing up for us and our slightly soggy cuties. All customers from last night during the rain, please don’t forget to hang them out to dry ^^
