What a great show the Santa Lucia Gem and Mineral Club puts on! Plenty of vendors, very well-attended by the public, and a large venue with excellent lighting. This is a wirewrap I did for someone who scored a large opal specimen from one of my favorite vendors - a family from Ethiopia with an opal mine. 😍

Self-isolation jewelry: now that I'm suddenly a full-time caregiver to my wonderful, talented, extremely bright, elderly mom, making jewelry has become an even more delicious treat!
Stranded in this small town far from my nuclear family, I find myself wanting to reach out to my mom's generous & considerate neighbors. These earrings were made with the intention of giving a pair (of her choice) to an 80-yr-old neighbor for her birthday. She's an amazing gardener, & these colors were inspired by the flowers in her beautiful garden:
